Bimetal band saw blades are high quality tools. In order to ensure optimum performance and service life, it is extremely important to select the proper saw blade, correct running-in and proper operation procedures.

1. The running of the saw blade:

          The new saw blade must be worn before it is officially used. The lifetime of a blade that is not worn or not worn is one-third or less of a worn-in saw blade. Only half of the normal feed pressure/velocity and sawing speed can be used when the blade is running in, until the surface area of 300-1000 cm2 is sawed out. Then gradually feed rate and sawing

          The speed increases to normal. Saw blade sawing can see whether the sawing pressure and conditions are correct.

2. Saw speed:

           The speed of the sawing band is determined by the type of material, the width of the material, and the tension of the saw band. Harder materials must use lower saw blade speeds; smaller widths must use faster saw blade speeds.
